Summit Zoo Day

Last Sunday we spent the afternoon at the Zoo with our church family. It's our tradition to take Barrett to the zoo for his birthday. The last several years it has combined with our church zoo day and it is always a lot of fun.

Barrett spent forever in the play area. I thought he would never move on!

He loved the giant "Cow Ants"

This crack me up! The before so uninterested in a picture

Up walks a friend and boom on comes the smile!

The drum section is always a favorite

You know its a good day if momma actually buys you a five dollar ice cream!

Until next time!

Peppa Pig

Incase you haven't met them let me make an introduction...

This is Peppa pig, her little brother George, Mommy pig, and Daddy pig.

Why am I writing a blog about a cartoon pig family? Well, because Barrett loves them of course!

Its hard to believe but it is that time again. Birthday time for sweet baby B. Now, I'm sure you're thinking. NO WAY it can't be here already! I know my thoughts exactly.  To celebrate our time with him we had a Peppa pig party. This year was a little different. The party was still simple and at our house on the patio. The difference being we went from 2 kids to 14!!!

The flow of the party went along with Barrett. He wanted to open a present so we did. Then he wanted cake so we cut it. He jumped, he played, he opened more presents and so on.

The littles loved playing and opening Barretts gifts and playing with them. I loved hearing the sweet laughs of all the babies having fun.

He loved all of his presents and has played with all of them on and off. His favorite toy is his cake toppers! LOL

As always I took a day off for his birthday to spend with him. He doesn't know the difference so we told him it was his birthday a day early.

We stopped on the way to the zoo in the cotton fields to take a picture. The spot we stopped at looked more like he was swimming in the cotton but owell!

Then we met Unc Jer at the Zoo and he had the best time!

Sliding down the Mount.

Still not taller then a tiger

We were there for the animal encounter so we got to pet the pigs and cow.

Of course we had to ride the Train too!

We met daddy for some Mexi for supper but forgot to take a picture. He ended his big day playing with his friends at church and making mud with dirt and ice with Leala. He had a wonderful day! We tucked our two year old way and are ready for year three.

The Best Thing About Memories Is Making Them

Let's take it back to May. We went to the Keys for our anniversary and decided nine days was way to long to be without Baby B so we took him along with us. You can't imagine my surprise when my we're never going to Disney husband said one Sunday leaving church. "You know Disney is half way, we could stop there for the day" YES!!!! Please!

We prepped Barrett that we were going to "Mickeys House" So after spending the day there. Sonny insisted he had to see Mickey. I love this sweet face when he saw the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse crew in the parade!
He loved the Jungle Cruise
Waiting for the Parade to start the sweet man in the blue shirt is blowing bubbles for them to chase

A quick snap in front of the castle late in the day
Sweet Mickey mouse talking to baby B
Love this picture of Barrett and Goofy

We left Disney and drove to fort pierce to spend the night. The following day we drove all the way down the A1A. My pier fishing husband wanted to stop by Juno Beach Pier.

The beach there was so unique with a glass like look to the sand. Barrett and I played while Sonny fished.

The Pier in the background
These two pictures make me giggle. Going through Miami (listening to welcome to Miami on repeat of course) Barrett starting throwing his cereal lol. Not normal behavior but hey this is vacation!
The villa we stayed in had a tree top screened balcony with the best breeze ever.
We went to a really neat outdoor aquarium that the tanks were designed by the show Tanked. All of the outdoor tanks were naturally fed.

We were there during the turtle feeding. Barrett loved feeding them!

The freshwater turtles ate shrimp

Baby B loves Airplanes. We took him to an aviation museum that he loved. I was amazed you could just walk into the airspace

We made a day in Key West. It is beautiful but a MAJOR tourist site. We much preferred our laid back quiet key.

Hawks Cay

Of course Sonny had to go see the TailWalker.  He  loves Into The Blue. Barrett wanted to go swimming with the "poons" The Deck hands told Sonny about Robbies were you could hand feed the Tarpon so of course he couldn't pass it up!

This precious angel was born while we were gone and gave us a reason to come home.
