The Future Comes One Day At A Time

We have reached the final countdown. Thursday, October 11, 2012, was my last day of work until 2013. So weird when you say it like that but I also know these next three months will go by so quickly. This weekend we rested up and made the final preparation to welcome our sweet little man into this world!

Friday the 12th my plans included making last minute preparations in the nursery. Getting a pedicure, and going by to fill out daycare paperwork something I have been putting off.  I'm definitely not looking forward to dropping him off on January 7, 2013, when I return to work! (can't I just take him with me?) Then there is going by the fire department and having them put in the car seat and show me how to use it! I also planned to clean this weekend because of course baby needs a clean house to come home to! I actually got most of that and more finished and what I didn't do I finished up on Saturday!

Other then that Hovatter and I spent our last weekend together as a family of two doing the following: Friday night grocery shopping at Wal-mart. Then we drove through Taco Bell to get something for me to eat and he said as he stole a nacho off my Nacho Bell Grande "You're going to end up turning me into a Taco eater" yes please! Saturday he ended up working part of the day. Which was fine because I slept most of the morning away! Got the house clean and watched a lot of football! Sunday morning I briefly got up to eat breakfast and went back to bed and slept until 1:00 while Sonny built some selves in his room. When I finally pulled myself out of bed and showered we went into town to do a few last minute things!

We made a stop by Aidan's 6th birthday party!

She was feeling extra sassy today!

After the party we went to Cotton Blues to have a final meal as a family of two!
Sonny had the chicken mash potatoes and Mac/Cheese

I had the breakfast platter and it was delicious! The sweet corn bread is fantastic!

We then came home to a bar full of gifts from one excited grandmother!

Over the last nine months I have shared some of the excited moments leading up to welcoming another Hovatter Well Take Care of YouThe Thrill Of The Reveal and The Single Digit Highlights!

We have also had many other special days with sweet friends and family showering us with love! Here are some highlights!

Telling a story in true Jules fashion
Seriously the sweetest thing ever! Julie's father passed away in December. Knowing he was looking down on her for their special day she wanted her dad to walk her down the aisle. So she strapped his pictures to her ankles to keep him near all day!
Her brother walking her mother down the aisle! The Purple and blue looked gorgeous on the beach!

The sweet flower girl wouldn't walk behind me no matter how hard I tried to get her to!
