Good Days Come Often, Bad Days Do Too.. But The Best Days Only Come When I With You

Today was such a great day I just had to share. Sweet baby Barrett turned two today. I took the day off work to be with him! In the words of Flo "It was the best day!"
His day started off with a much needed bath for a stinky little boy
I've always wanted to stop and take pictures in the cotton when the fields are in bloom so today we did just that!

We spent the middle of the day at the  zoo. If you haven't been to the Hattiesburg Zoo lately you really should. All the renovation they have made are so nice. The weather was perfect for a picnic lunch and trip into the zoo.

A picture with the "Roar"

His sweet friend Clara Kate joined us at the zoo. I laughed and laughed at these silly babies.

The train ride was lots of fun!

After the zoo and a quick nap in the car off to Kids Rule we went. We had the whole place to ourselves!

He loved climbing up the slide and falling back down!
We followed it up with some Froyo because even the little can't resist 32 degrees
His Da-da had to work today so we topped off the family celebration with some Mexican.

Happy Birthday to our greatest blessing. We love you more then you'll ever know!

O-FISH-ALLY TWO

Sweet baby Barrett had his second birthday party over the weekend (sniff sniff). We had a small simple party on the back patio for this sweet boy. He is a little obsessed with fishies so
O-FISH-ALLY TWO only seemed fitting.

We kept him inside until everything was decorated and we were ready to party. He was so excited to come out to party. He LOVED the balloons (balls as he calls them). He points them out anywhere we go. To have them at his house was a real treat!

I must say I was very happy with how cute the cup cakes and cake turned out! I was impressed with my decorating ability for once!!!

Oh the presents! Everything about opening presents was fun! He was in love with the first present (pictured below) and didn't want to give it up. Every time a new present would catch his attention he had to try it out! Since his party he has played with every thing he got multiple times. He is so excited  about all his new goodies!

Hollyn Loved his Mickey toy! She was so sweet checking him out.

He was too cute trying to ride on his new tractor and trailer

Time for cake!!

He licked a little icing and ate a few nom-noms (M&Ms). He picked over it for about five minutes before he started to sign "all done" and that was that!

Picture with sweet friends but we really should have picked a better background =(

After we ate, opened gifts, and had cake the babies played and played! The daddies played football. We all hung out outside and enjoyed the evening.

The babies favorite part of the party was letting the balloons fly away! Brenley had it mastered and let go of about eight! They would watch them fly away while cheering and telling them bye-bye. Barrett preferred hanging on to his and carrying it around!

We waited way to late in the party to get a family picture but we gave it our best attempt! Sweaty, dirty and smelly little one below about sums up his party appearance!

He seriously had so much fun. I couldn't have hoped for a better party. He had fun from beginning to end. He even had two or three little temper tantrum but hey isn't that what the terrible two's are all about? Guess we will find out. So excited to see what another year with this precious little one holds.  Feeling ever grateful for this most perfect little Hovatter!

August Is Like The Sunday Of Summer

Didn't summer just begin?

I feel certain I was just pulling out of my winter funk and embracing the warmth. Here's what our summer looked like!

We hopped on the birthday party train. I was told this would happen and apparently before I know it we will have multiple parties a weekend! They were all fun though. I especially like the picture of all the kiddos on the balance beam at CK's party! There are lots of sweet babies with fall birthday's coming up so guess were staying on the party express! Choo-choo

Barrett and I joined my sweet peds co-workers for the ARC summer adventures parade. We had so much fun watching all our sweet kiddos be the star of the show! Baby B made friends with some rescue pups!

So yeah, umm we briefly had a cat named Sophia for about two or three months. He actually was a sweet cat and got to stay around because B loved him. With that said can't say I'm sad he is gone! So long Sophia

Sonny had to go to the ER because he was bitten by a spider on his head! =)

Barrett was wore out, a lot!

See I told you! Baby likes to party until he drops!

Fourth of July fireworks were a hit! I'm such a sucker for fireworks. I can't help it, there just so magical!

We celebrated the upcoming arrival of baby Rowan

Sonny and I both discovered that we like Dickies! Strange I know. I always knew the fried okra was good but turns out there are also lots of other yummy things!

Of course there was beach bumming because what is a Hovatter if not a beach bum!!

We also had fun at Rodeo!

The only thing that we missed out on this summer was having Sonny here with us more! We don't like when he is off working.  Three's company and Hovatter's Stick together!

Stay tune for Fall!!
