Sweet baby Barrett had his second birthday party over the weekend (sniff sniff). We had a small simple party on the back patio for this sweet boy. He is a little obsessed with fishies so
O-FISH-ALLY TWO only seemed fitting.
We kept him inside until everything was decorated and we were ready to party. He was so excited to come out to party. He LOVED the balloons (balls as he calls them). He points them out anywhere we go. To have them at his house was a real treat!
I must say I was very happy with how cute the cup cakes and cake turned out! I was impressed with my decorating ability for once!!!
Oh the presents! Everything about opening presents was fun! He was in love with the first present (pictured below) and didn't want to give it up. Every time a new present would catch his attention he had to try it out! Since his party he has played with every thing he got multiple times. He is so excited about all his new goodies!
Hollyn Loved his Mickey toy! She was so sweet checking him out.
He was too cute trying to ride on his new tractor and trailer
Time for cake!!
He licked a little icing and ate a few nom-noms (M&Ms). He picked over it for about five minutes before he started to sign "all done" and that was that!
Picture with sweet friends but we really should have picked a better background =(
After we ate, opened gifts, and had cake the babies played and played! The daddies played football. We all hung out outside and enjoyed the evening.
The babies favorite part of the party was letting the balloons fly away! Brenley had it mastered and let go of about eight! They would watch them fly away while cheering and telling them bye-bye. Barrett preferred hanging on to his and carrying it around!
We waited way to late in the party to get a family picture but we gave it our best attempt! Sweaty, dirty and smelly little one below about sums up his party appearance!
He seriously had so much fun. I couldn't have hoped for a better party. He had fun from beginning to end. He even had two or three little temper tantrum but hey isn't that what the terrible two's are all about? Guess we will find out. So excited to see what another year with this precious little one holds. Feeling ever grateful for this most perfect little Hovatter!
