His grandparents live in a house that goes on forever and has great fixtures and decor from the 60s and 70s. Directly behind their house is Tina's sheep farm and let me tell you they are as cute as a Serta commercial.
Saturday Sonny and his Papaw cooked crawfish and we ate on them until time for bed.
We also went across the basin that is flooded. It was really sad to see homes with water to the roof line.
We never do much but visit and enjoy the quiet and eat and until we literally can't eat anymore but his granny's unmatched hospitality just can't be beat!
Sonny's dad, his pawpa, and Sonny. I snapped this picture literally as we were walking out the door!
On Monday for Memorial Day the Hill/Todds, The Hovatter's, and The Welch's gather by the kiddie pool with yummy grilled food!
Late afternoon when a small shower moved in we went in doors and played battle of the sexes for couples. I feel pretty sure we were no where close to following the rules but boy did we get some interesting answers and some interesting looks!
For this weekend I'm so grateful to all of our troops. They sacrifice their time, families, kiddie pool parties, fast food, and sadly for some their lives. See we can have wonderful weekends in a Country we are so blessed to live in! GOD BLESS AND PROTECT OUR TROOP <3
