Twice maybe even three times I started working on this blog in October. Here it is January and I'm just now finishing it. Why am I such a bad blogger. For you five readers out there. Once again I apologize for the delay!
Let me take you back to Mitchell Farms if I can manage to dust off the cobwebs and recall the events! We went one Sunday with our church. We started it out with a wagon ride and guided tour of the grounds (the audio was very snoozy)

The sunflower field was so pretty! |
Barrett's favorite part was a truck barn. I seriously though we might not get him out of there. He loved this VW bug and tried his best to climb inside.
Bennett loved the corn.
We rode the train!
Barrett pulled Ethan in his wagon
Brett Told us about his day!

Sweet Kathryn on the swing |
This little stinker refused to look at me in the pumpkin patch so I could get a picture!
The babies LOVED the animals in the barn!
Barrett wouldn't cooperate for a family picture either! Shocking!!
Then there was Halloween! For the last two years I have wanted B to be an Indian but couldn't find a costume. So the night before we were to attend a halloween party we went to all the party stores and struck out. We went to target as a last ditch effort and Barrett walked up and handed us the costume below so a fireman he was!

Brenley's Ghost costume was so presh! |
It was cool so we skipped the hay ride and rode in the truck. B had lots of fun trick or treating and ate way too much candy!
The day of the party I decided to be a Dalmatian and Hovatter jokingly said he would be a firetruck so I got to work! We won best group costume at the party we attended!
The next night we went truck or treating at Heritage.
Notice below she moved away from him!! CK was worried B would take her candy!
He loved this snake. We had to go touch it like four times. The day he walks up holding a snake I may just have a heart attack.
We went to Zoo Boo as well. The train ride and lights were a lot of fun! The games were meltdown city. Baby B just didn't understand why they were so short and why he had to take turns.
He loved his fire hat so much! He wore it for weeks after Halloween was over. He still comes out of his play room wearing it sometimes.
Then there was November. The best part of the month was my birthday trip to NYC. This trip was the first time I had ever spent a night away from Barrett. I was great until the day before and I probably cried 10 times. I felt so silly about it too!
The trip was wonderful by thoughts were as follows:
Why all the honking?
Everything is so narrow. Three story Walgreen?
Lot's of rotating doors.
It was surprisingly clean
I felt safe the whole time.
Time Square was over whelming
Chinatown was like being in Mexico
The ice rink at Rockefeller Center is tiny
The tree is huge
We learned SO much
