On May 27, 2003 Julia Hinton and Sonny Hovatter first met. Though our paths had crossed many time over the years this was the beginning. Sonny lived in Gulf shores, AL. Julia had just graduated from high school in Laurel, MS. Sonny visited every weekend for two years. In May of 2005 Julia and Sonny both were now living in Mobile, AL. For one year they had all the time in the world. Lunch and dinner dates, Julia walking in the park while Sonny fished, weekends on the beach, and ball games. In August of 2006 Julia started graduate school and Sonny started TK and 80-100 hour work weeks mixed with 40 hours of classes and clinicals not including studying for Julia. Then came 3 months of clinicals in Pensacola for Julia followed by three months in Hattiesburg. In December 2008 Julia graduated and Moved back to Hattiesburg. On August 15, 2009 they bought a house that Sonny visited on the weekends. In February 2010 Sonny proposed and on 10.2.10 they made it official spent seven wonderful days in the Bahamas and on Monday Sonny returned to work in Mobile. This blog is dedicated to documenting their time together no matter how few and far between because after all "Hovatters Stick Together"
