I have a small trunk that I put all the important things in I want to keep. Cards, letter, items from important events and special happies! Well the one I have is so full even the lid is full and it is so hard to close. We registered for one but didn't get it and then I was going to get it with some Christmas money but I didn't. I found one I like at Ross last Friday night but didn't get it. So Saturday Sonny needed new boots so we were downtown at Sacks and just happen to look across the Street and saw what I believe to be the antique store we were looking for a few weeks before so after going all over Hattiesburg looking for boots I reminded Sonny and we went to the store.
We were walking around the store and I walked up on this old trunk most likely for the 30s or 40s like something you would see on the Titanic and looked like it had been under water. It has the great light green tint to it which is fabulous because that is the color I have been accenting our guest room with. I had to have this trunk. I told Sonny "I want this trunk!" as I was saying that he said "I want Julia to have this trunk" what??? He point and started to read again "I want Julia to have this trunk" was hand written inside the lit of the trunk. Normally stuff doesn't creep me out but this was a little strange. The trunk had no price on it so I found the shop owner and the trunk came home with me! So far it hasn't moved across the room or appeared by my bed. I haven't hear crying or laughing during the night but hey I've only had it a week.
If you look closely at the pictures below you can read it!
